* Notification Regarding Dual Submission of Abstracts to Both the 2008 HIV/AIDS Implementers' Meeting in Kampala and the AIDS 2008 Conference in Mexico City

Abstract submitters to AIDS 2008 who intend to co-submit to the Implementers' meeting must declare in the appropriate field of the online AIDS 2008 abstract submission form when submitting their abstract that they intend to co-submit their results to the Implementers' meeting. These submitters would similarly need to declare this to the Implementers' meeting in advance of submitting their results to the Implementers' meeting.

Results presented at the Implementers' meeting that are accepted for presentation at the AIDS 2008 meeting (either for poster, poster discussion or oral presentation) may not be published in any format (online or in a written journal) until after the end of AIDS 2008 (August 8th). In addition, results presented at the Implementers' meeting may not be discussed with the media until their presentation at AIDS 2008. Abstracts selected for AIDS 2008 will be disqualified if results presented at the Implementers' meeting are published or discussed in the media in advance of AIDS 2008.
